Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Oversight
- Supervise, assign, and review the daily work of accounting staff; provide coaching and on-the-job guidance to develop team capability.
- Ensure the team meets all deadlines for payments, reporting, and statutory submissions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the accounting function when the Head of Accounting is unavailable.
Financial Reporting & Closing
- Lead and coordinate the month-end and year-end closing process; review journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations prepared by the team.
- Prepare and review financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement) in accordance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS).
- Analyze financial results and provide commentary for management review.
- Consolidate financial data from subsidiary entities when required.
Tax & Compliance
- Oversee the preparation and submission of all statutory tax declarations: VAT, CIT, PIT, and others as required.
- Ensure full compliance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards, tax laws, and internal control policies.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities; prepare supporting documentation for audits and inspections.
- Monitor changes in accounting and tax regulations and communicate implications to the team and management.
Cost Accounting & Financial Control
- Oversee cost tracking for export-import operations, raw material procurement, and manufacturing activities across subsidiaries.
- Review and approve payment documents, supplier invoices, and expense claims.
- Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen internal controls and increase accounting efficiency.
Budgeting & Planning Support
- Assist the Head of Accounting in preparing annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts.
- Monitor actual performance against budget; flag significant variances and recommend corrective actions.
Reporting & Communication
- Prepare and present regular financial reports to the Head of Accounting and Finance Director.
- Communicate proactively with Operations, Sales, Procurement, and other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial data.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by senior management.

What We‘re Looking For
Qualifications
Bachelor‘s degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or a related field. A Chief Accountant Certificate is required or in progress.
At least 4–6 years of accounting experience, including a minimum of 1–2 years in a supervisory or team-lead capacity.
Strong command of Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS); experience with IFRS is a plus.
Experience in preparing consolidated financial reports is preferred.
Solid experience with tax compliance (VAT, CIT, PIT) and familiarity with the audit process.
Experience in a trading, export, or manufacturing company is strongly preferred.
Proficiency in accounting software (MISA, SAP, or equivalent) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to manage priorities under deadline pressure.
Good English proficiency — able to read financial documents, prepare reports with English components, and communicate with international stakeholders when needed.
